Composition: MENICARE SOFT is an isotonic aqueous solution containing 0.0001% polyhexanide as an active ingredient and preservative, macrogolglycerol hydroxystearate 60, disodium edetate and isotonic agents.
For external use only
- Always wash and rinse your hands before handling contact lenses. Always handle the same contact lens (left or right) first, so as not to mix them up.
- After removing the lens from your eye, place it in the palm of your hand.
- Apply a few drops of MeniCare Soft solution to the lens. Gently massage the lens for 20 seconds using your index finger.
- Rinse the lens with the MeniCare Soft solution to remove all impurities. - Place the lenses in the left and right lens compartments, previously filled with
with MeniCare Soft solution and leave them to soak for at least 4 hours (or overnight) to
overnight) to decontaminate them.
- Your lenses are now clean and decontaminated.
- Before wearing them, rinse your lenses with MeniCare Soft solution.
- Empty the MeniCare Soft solution from the lens case and rinse it with MeniCare Soft solution. Leave the open lens case to air dry. Once re-sealed, the case is ready for use again.
Lenses can be stored for up to 30 days in the case, provided it is not opened. If they are not to be worn for more than 30 days, they should be cleaned and decontaminated every thirty days with a fresh supply of MeniCare Soft.
- Always use new MeniCare Soft solution - never re-use the used solution in the case. This would reduce the decontamination process and could lead to serious eye infections.
- Never expose contact lenses to tap water or non-sterile water; microbial contamination could occur and cause eye damage.
- Keep out of reach of Children.
- Consult an ophthalmologist before using any eye treatment in conjunction with contact lenses.
PRECAUTIONS
- Do not use beyond the expiry date.
- Never use if the safety ring on the bottle is damaged.
- Once the bottle has been opened, discard any remaining solution after three months.
- Close the bottle after use.
- Do not touch the tip of the bottle with your fingers.
- Store at a temperature below 25°C.
- Keep out of direct sunlight. "
- Do not swallow.
- Keep the lens case clean and dry. Replace regularly.
- Consult a lens specialist before using a different solution.
- Do not use with rigid gas permeable Contact lenses.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Do not use this product if you are allergic to any component of the MeniCare Soft solution. Never use MeniCare Soft for thermal decontamination.
SIDE EFFECTS
The following problems may occur: itching, burning or pruritus (irritation)
comfort compared to when the lens was first inserted, sensation of something in the eye (e.g. a body)
of something in the eye (foreign body, scratch), excessive tearing (Larmes), abnormal eye secretions, redness of the eye, reduced visual sharpness (poor visual acuity), blurred vision, rainbows or halos around objects, sensitivity to light (photophobia) or dryness of the eye. If any of the above eye problems occur, remove the contact lenses, stop using MeniCare Soft solution and consult your specialist or practitioner.
