Nat&Form Vitamin D3 + Zinc contains naturally-occurring vitamin D3 extracted from lanolin*.
It contributes to the proper functioning of the immune system and bone capital. Zinc completes the action of vitamin D3. Vitamin D is essential for our bodies to function properly.
It has two origins:
- One part is synthesised by the body, in the Skin, under the action of ultraviolet rays, and then stored in the liver, muscles and adipose tissue for use during the winter months.
- The other part (around 20%) comes from our diet, found mainly in seafood and dairy products.
To fill up on vitamin D, nothing beats the sunshine. But from October to March, when there is a shortage of UV rays, blood levels fall in our bodies. Plus, the digestive absorption of vitamin D varies greatly according to age and type of food. According to the ESTEBAN** study, 75% of French people have an inadequate intake of vitamin D.
