Bach Flower Clematis, for a clear mind
Clematis vitalba, of the Ranunculaceae family, is a bushy plant sometimes nicknamed hedge clematis or beggar's weed. It thrives in generous sunlight, provided its Feet are in the shade. It grows spontaneously along watercourses, at the edge of woods, in the heart of bushes and forests up to 2,000 m altitude. Robust, it can live for around thirty years.
From a purely botanical point of view, white vine clematis is a sarmentose liana that can grow to a height of 20 metres. The smooth bark of its branched stems turns yellowish grey over time and then peels off in strips. Its deciduous, oval, twisted-stalked leaves are medium green. Its greenish-white flowers have spiral carpels and stamens. They bloom from July to September and are very fragrant at the end of the day. The fruits of the White Vine Clematis are silvery achenes with a silky feather duster that lasts well into the Winter.
