William Mathias Scholl founded and launched the brand in Chicago, America in 1907. Further to 3 years of researches and the creation of half a sole to support the arch of the foot. It was absolutely revolutionary for the times.
In the 1920's, Scholl was the first company to create shoes fitting the shape of the feet. In the 1930's, it launched the support stockings then the soles in the 1940's.
Since, Scholl has developed a wide range of foot cares : bandages, anti wart, corn and mycosis cares, electric pumice devices.
