In dogs: Treatment of flea(Ctenocephalides spp.) and tick(Dermacentor reticulatus) infestations. Insecticidal efficiency against new adult flea infestations persists for up to 8 weeks. The product's acaricidal efficiency persists for up to 4 weeks against ticks(Rhipicephalus sanguineus, Ixodes ricinus, Dermacentor reticulatus). If ticks of certain species(Rhipicephalus sanguineus and Ixodes ricinus) are present when the product is applied, they may not all be killed within the first 48 hours, but may be killed within the first week. The product may be included in a therapeutic programme for the treatment of Dermatitis by Hypersensitivity to Flea Bites (DHPP) if this has already been diagnosed by the veterinary surgeon.

Apply the product directly to the Skin according to the animal's weight, as follows:
1 pipette of 4.02ml for a dog weighing between 40 kg and 60 kg.
For dogs weighing Plus 60 kg, use 2 pipettes of 2.68 ml.

Treatment regimen: To combat flea and/or tick infestations efficiently, the treatment regimen may take account of the local epidemiological situation. In the absence of safety studies, the minimum treatment interval is 4 weeks.

Composition: Each 4.02 mL pipette contains :
Fipronil 402 mg - Pyriproxifen 120.6 mg
Butylated hydroxyanisole (E320)
Butylated hydroxytoluene (E321)
Diethylene glycol monoethyl ether

Do not use in puppies under 2 months of age and/or weighing less than 2 kg in the absence of available information.
Do not use in sick (systemic diseases, fever, etc.) or convalescent animals.
Do not use in rabbits, as adverse effects which may be lethal may occur.
This product has been specifically developed for dogs. Do not use in cats, to avoid overdosing.
Do not use in the event of hypersensitivity to the active ingredient or to one of the excipients

In animals:
Animals must be accurately weighed before treatment. Avoid all contact with the animal's eyes. In the event of accidental contact with the eyes, wash immediately with plenty of water. Do not apply the product to damaged Skin. Take care to apply the product to an area that the animal cannot lick and ensure that animals do not lick each other after treatment.

For the person administering the veterinary medicine to animals :
This product may cause irritation of the mucous membranes and eyes. Contact with the mouth or eyes should therefore be avoided. In the event of accidental contact with the eyes, wash immediately with plenty of water. If eye irritation persists, seek medical advice immediately and show the instructions or labelling. Avoid touching the contents of the pipette with your fingers. If you do, wash your hands with soap and water.
Wash your hands after use. Do not smoke, drink or eat during application. Animals or users with a known hypersensitivity to fipronil or to one of the excipients (see section "List of excipients") should avoid all contact with the product. Until the application site is dry, treated animals must not be handled and Children must not be allowed to play with treated animals. It is therefore advisable not to treat animals during the day but rather in the early evening, and not to let animals that have just been treated sleep with their owners, especially children.

How to use it

For external use only.

Method of administration :
Remove the pipette from its blister pack. Hold it upright. Tap the narrow end of the pipette to ensure that the contents are dispensed into the central part of the pipette. Break off the self-breaking end of the pipette along the engraved line.
Part the animal's hair at the base of the neck, in front of the shoulder blades, until the Skin is visible. Place the tip of the pipette directly on the exposed Skin. Gently squeeze the centre of the pipette several times to expel all the contents. If necessary, particularly with large dogs, the contents of the pipette can be distributed in one or two additional places along the animal's back to avoid the liquid running down the flanks or remaining too superficially in the coat.
