Dulcosoft constipation is a medical device from the Sanofi laboratory. It is made up of Macrogol (a molecule) which effectively and gently relieves occasional constipation while moisturising and softening hard stools. It takes effect in 24 to 72 hours.

This device is packaged in a bottle, a drinkable solution with a measuring glass included. It is tasteless, so there is no risk of altering (= modifying) the taste of the drinks in which the medicine will be diluted.

Indicated for adults and Children aged 6 months and over.

DulcoSoft® Constipation is a medical device used for the symptomatic treatment of occasional constipation and for softening hard stools.

DulcoSoft® Constipation is suitable for :

Adults and Children aged 8 Plus.
Children under 8, on medical advice only.
Diabetics: the solution contains no sugar.
People on a low-sodium diet.
Pregnant or breast-feeding women. If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, you are strongly advised to ask your doctor before using Dulcosoft® Constipation

How to use it

As the solution has a neutral taste, it can be mixed directly with the drink of your choice, hot or cold (approx. 150 ml).

Dose: measure the dose using the measuring cup included.

You can adapt the recommended dose to suit your individual needs: it can range from 1 dose (20 to 40 ml) per day to 1 dose (20 to 40 ml) every other day.

The appropriate dose is the lowest dose that produces regular soft stools.

The recommended Daily use dose should preferably be taken as a single dose in the morning.

For Children under 8 years of age, use only on medical advice.

Children from 6 months to 1 year:
- 08 ml of solution per day, preferably taken as a single dose in the morning.
Children aged 2 to 3 years:
- 08 to 16 ml of solution per day, preferably taken as a single dose in the morning.
Children aged 4 to 7 years:
- 16 to 32 ml of solution per day, preferably taken as a single dose in the morning.
Adults and children aged 8 and Plus :
- 20 to 40 ml of solution per day, preferably taken as a single dose in the morning.
