The liquorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra L.) used to make Phytostandard capsules is grown organically, with respect for the Environment. After harvesting, the fresh liquorice roots are frozen to preserve their compounds. The compounds are then ground and extracted using the Phytostandard process, renowned for its respect for the integrity of the plant's compounds. The plant extract obtained is alcohol-free. It is then freeze-dried, i.e. dehydrated cold, before being placed in a vegetarian capsule.
