[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an absolutely beautiful trio of haircare products featuring a shampoo, leave-in mask, and serum. I really enjoyed using these products together, as I felt that they combined beautifully to leave my strands feeling glossy and repaired. I was weary at leaving the leave-in treatment on for fear it would weigh my hair down, but the results have been beautiful. I personally keep the serum on the longest in the shower and then add the mask on right before I leave. Great and innovative products!

I was a bit worried there wasn't a scent whilst washing my hair, but the lasting scent afterwards was gorgeous, salon scent! I'm not used to not using conditioner in the shower but the serum was so effective. My hair became a little greasy quicker than normal with the leave in mask. This is a lovely affordable product for salon hair at home.

Usually I can’t smell my shampoo but I kept on smelling it until my hair was washed with something else. It left my hair feeling revitalised, which is different to anything I had experienced before. Especially when I am 18 months postpartum. It is more than I would usually spend on shampoo but it did a great job. But, the instructions leave a lot to be desired. I really struggled to tell whether I was supposed to use the entire bottle or not. I decided not to, and it worked for me. But I couldn’t tell you what the correct answer is as to how much you should use. It is due to this that I only give it 4 stars.

There are 3 parts to the set, repair shampoo, rinse off serum and leave in mask. The repair shampoo smelt really nice, went on and lathered well and my hair did feel really nice afterwards. The serum took me a while to figure out, as the other bottles had instructions and this one didn’t but once did I put the serum in and rinsed out. I didn’t really notice much of a difference after using this. The leave in mask is to be used after towel drying the hair. I don’t usually put so much product in my hair so did find the process a little long winded but my hair did feel good afterwards use and smelt really nice. I have to say though, I didn’t find an improvement in my hair quality, it was just more frizzy which was disappointing. Its not something I would probably get in future just because it doesn’t seem to have helped my hair.

So I was super excited to try this kit as after lots of years of dying and bleaching my hair it’s damaged, dry, fine and frizzy and what I thought beyond repair. I was ready to start my journey to repairing my hair to try and get some health, strength and shine back into it and reduce the frizz and flatness. I looked into the Absolut Repair Molecular Discovery Set and thought this sounds perfect for me especially as L’Oréal has been one of my favourite brands over the years so. The kit come in a nice little box with 3 mini products inside, there’s the shampoo, the rinse of serum and the leave in mask, so a perfect little trio. Each product smells really nice which I didn’t expect as some products that are to repair your hair don’t always smell the best. The shampoo is a good consistency and a little goes along way, it’s doesn’t foam up as much as a normal shampoo would but still works just as well and one of the best things about it, is that it’s sulphate free. The rinse of serum is not to runny and a nice consistency to apply to the hair, and leave in conditioner feels Luxurious and caring when gliding it though the hair. I will say with all of these products a little goes a long way. After the first use of the set I already started to feel a difference in regards to how easy the brush went though my hair and once dried how much more manageable my hair was, so was off to a really good start. I’ve now done roughly 8 uses of the kit and wow is all I can say literally wow, this kit and the products are phenomenal. My hair when washed and dried literally looks like I’ve just walked out of a salon, my frizz is roughly 95% reduced I always have a lot of new hair growth near the front of my head and it’s also held tame those and reduce the frizziness and flyaways. The thickness my hair now has is absolutely incredible, I used to refuse to wear my hair in a ponytail as it looked more like a rats tail but after using these product I proudly walk around with the fullest ponytail and with a spring in my step. The major thing for me was the hair that was coming out in the brush or snapping off which was just due to how weak my hair was, it really used to get me down, each time I would brush my hair I would remove the hair that came out and would be able to make a golf ball sized ball of hair…….and wait for it, literally after using these products I don’t even have a quarter of the loss I used you to which is honestly life changing for me. My hair is so much thicker, the shine is shining and it just looks and feel so much healthier, the strength of my hair has massively improved alongside the frizziness that is more or less none existent. These products 100% flop low through with what they claim they do and may sound silly to some but they have literally changed my life and given me my confidence and smile back in regards to my hair. I really love that the offer the set in mini sizes as it’s the perfect way to try the products out and see if they work for you, they also do multiple other sets so if your hair is experiencing a different issue then they have something suitable for you. I have already now purchased the full set in the bigger sizes, as it’s just that good. They are quite a bit more expensive but worth every single penny in my personal opinion and I now wouldn’t be without the 3 products that gave me my hair back

Firstly, the shampoo is so velvety. It lathers well and the good thing is you don't have to use too much - a little goes a long way. The shampoo made my scalp feel nice and clean without feeling irritated. The serum was easy to use. I combed through my hair to detangle and it was so easy. The leave-on mask felt lovely to finish off with the products. It's a must to use this trio altogether for best results. And they all smell amazing!
