Targeted molecular repair
When hair is damaged, its peptide-based molecular structure can deteriorate, affecting its movement and resilience. Absolut Repair Molecular shampoo combines a peptide bonder and five amino acids in a patented formula. L’Oréal Advanced Research developed a technology that breaks down peptides, allowing their separate components to be reinjected inside the hair fibre. These components can then reform and rebuild the hair’s molecular structure. According to the reported results, the range repairs two years of damage in one application and provides up to 86% nourishment. These results are based on instrumental or consumer tests carried out using the range’s shampoo, rinse-out serum and leave-in mask.
