Pauline Bony grew up in the Auvergne region where she discovered with the help of an exceptional botanist, one of nature’s treasures: organic fresh Birch Sap, an elixir used to make treatments by the women in her family but that had been very seldom used in cosmetics.

Its benefits for skin were tested in laboratory and Birch Sap became the star active ingredient in a range of high-performance skincare.

Discoveries in the Auvergne mountains

Birch sap is a legendary nectar that offers the body antioxidant, detoxifying, remineralising, and revitalising properties. It has long been used for its medicinal purposes, especially in Scandinavian countries. Its many benefits derive from its quasi-unique composition, a combination of minerals, trace elements, sugars and amino acids.

As well as its Sap, the Birch tree has a natural anti-ageing treasure, an organism that grows exclusively on its bark: Chaga. This medicinal mushroom is used to make decoctions that are said to be able to increase longevity.

This mushroom contains one of the highest concentrations of antioxidants in the plant world which have the ability to stimulate the immune defenses and protect cellular DNA.
