Mercurochrome Electronic Thermometer

Mercurochrome electronic thermometer quickly measures body temperature from 32.0°C to 42°C (accuracy +/-0.1°C between 35°C and 39°C; +/-0.2°C on other ranges).

Taking an oral temperature :
- Place the measuring tip under the tongue as close as possible to the heat pack. Approximate measurement time: 1 minute.

Taking an axillary (underarm) temperature:
- Wipe the armpit with a dry towel and place the measuring tip under the arm so that it touches the skin with the thermometer perpendicular to the body. Bend the arm and place it against the chest. The tip should be well covered under the armpit.
- Approximate measurement time: 2-3 minutes.
- Note: Axillary temperatures are generally 0.5°C lower than oral readings.

Taking a rectal temperature :
- Apply a water-soluble lubricant to the tip. Gently insert the tip (MAXIMUM 1/2 ") into the rectum.
- Approximate measurement time: < 30 seconds
- Note: Rectal temperatures are generally 0.5°C higher than oral readings.
