How to use it
Press gently on either side of the thermometer to remove the cap. Do not force to remove the cap.
Always use a new, undamaged probe tip. Make sure the ear canal is clean.
Fit the probe tip.
Press the ON/MEM button to switch on the thermometer. The thermometer is ready for use when the ear icon stops flashing and after two short beeps.
Gently pull the ear back so that the ear canal is straight and gently position the probe in the ear towards the tympanic membrane to obtain an accurate reading.
Measuring ear temperature: using your index finger, press the Scan button until you hear a long beep.
Switch the thermometer off: the device will switch off automatically after 1 minute to extend battery life.
