1. The strap should be placed on the wrist after removing any clothing or jewellery that might interfere with the measurement. The screen of the device must be placed in the positive direction of the wrist. That is, with the top of the screen pointing towards your thumb. 2. The strap should be closed around the wrist like this, leaving a space of 1 to 2cm between the tensiometer and the joint
Correct measurement posture 1. Please sit in a room where the temperature and humidity correspond to the operating values of the device (-,5-40°C, 15%-80%RH). Your Body should be relaxed and your posture should be natural. You should be sitting in a chair, with both feet flat on the floor and your back straight. Your wrist should be at the same height as your heart. 2. Your mind should be relaxed, and maintain a relaxed posture during the measurement. Poor posture or a state of nervousness will distort the results obtained. Blood pressure varies with posture, mental state and the time of day. This is why it is advisable to take measurements at the same time of day.
Press the ON/OFF button, the device's display will light up and it will start to charge up to take the measurement. Do not move or speak during the measurement. If mmHg appears on the display then the unit of measurement is mmHgn, otherwise it will be kPa.
