How to use it

INCI Formula: Organic essential oil. Certified by Ecocert

Usage instructions: For food use: limited application. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use on children under 7 years old, or on pregnant or breastfeeding women. Do not use daily. Use at a maximum concentration of 0.01% (approx. 2 drops per 1 kg of food). Store away from light and heat.

SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS

This Cinnamon essential oil is dermocaustic (may cause burns to skin and mucous membranes) and toxic to the liver. Use of this essential oil is reserved for experienced users, as it requires careful handling and is more suited to medical prescription. For adult use only. If taken orally, the drop of essential oil must be mixed with half a teaspoon of vegetable oil. It is contraindicated in cases of gastric disorders (burning, ulcers, gastro-oesophageal reflux). Treatment should not exceed 5–7 days. It is contraindicated in cases of liver insufficiency. It is allergenic (cinnamaldehyde). For topical use (never undiluted): highly potent, this essential oil must be diluted in a vegetable oil at 1–2% maximum due to its dermocaustic properties. For atmospheric diffusion: Never use alone in a dry air jet diffuser. It is preferable to use a ready-to-use blend. Dilute at 1% with other essential oils (Citrus, etc.). Do not use for dry or humid inhalation, or in a bath.
