How to use it
To measure body temperature (Body Mode) : Before taking any measurements, make sure the thermometer is clean. Remove any hair, sweat or make-up. -Press the test button. -Point the thermometer at the centre of the forehead (about 1 cm above the eyebrows) from a distance of between 1 cm and 3 cm maximum, then press the test button. -Read the temperature on the display. -Press and hold the test button to switch the device off.
To measure the temperature of objects (Object Mode) : To switch from Body mode to Object mode, hold down the set button. -Point the thermometer at the centre of the object from a distance of between 1 cm and 3 cm maximum, then press the test button. - Read the temperature on the display -Press and hold the Test button to switch the device off

Read the instructions carefully before use. Never leave Children to take their temperature unsupervised, as some parts are small enough to be swallowed. Do not take temperatures on scar tissue, open wounds or abrasions.
In order to obtain a reliable result: - It is necessary for the patient and thermometer to be stabilised at the same ambient temperature for 30 minutes before taking a measurement. - Always take the temperature on the same area of the forehead for more accurate monitoring.
