Stop snoring and improve your nasal breathing. Snoring does not only affect the sleep of others, but it also affects the sleep quality and consequently well-being and health of the snorer.
Nozovent dilates the narrowest and most supple part of the nostril. It does this to reduce the speed at which air travels through the nostrils, by increasing the volume of air, easing breathing. Because of this, the soft palate does not vibrate as easily. Breathing is easier, snoring is reduced.
Press the side of the wings by using the thumb and index finger (see the drawing on the package). First insert one wing into a nostril, then bend the other wing into position. To make sure it has been correctly inserted, tug lightly onto the part that is still in the exterior to make sure it is correctly fixed.
To easily reinsert a Novozent device which has fallen to the ground, you can mark its centre with a water resistant marker.
At first you may feel some irritation or discomfort. We suggest placing Novozent into position a few minutes before going to sleep. Your body should adapt to it in two to three nights, after which you will no longer feel it. If your sleep is agitated, Novozent may fall out. You need only reinsert it to continue its effects.
It is available in 2 sizes. The standard "Medium" size and the "Large" size. It is important to choose the correct size for the correct nose. Eventually, you will be able to adapt the Novozent to the nose by slightly clipping its wings with some scissors for maximum comfort.
Nozovent can be cleaned with soap and water if necessary. You can also boil in water for 2 minutes (if suffering from a cold).
The elastic properties of Novozent will degrade with time. This is why we suggest replacing Novozent regularly, when it starts to not properly fit your nose. Normal usage time is usually 4 to 6 weeks.

Watch the sizeThe Nozovent reduces snoring but doesn't eliminate it. The biggest issue is with sizing. I bought a Large size, and even though I have what I would consider a sizable conk, it's too big and actually irritates the lining inside my nose because it's pushing so hard against it. Other places sell the Nozovent with no sizing, which I assume to mean thay are all Medium. I have bought these before without a problem, so I think the Large size must be for only the biggest niffers.
