Contraindications
Do not use:
- on children under 12 years old or individuals unable to remove the patch themselves.
- if you have nerve damage (e.g., due to diabetes), poor circulation, heart disease, are pregnant, or have skin conditions (such as eczema or psoriasis) or very delicate, sensitive skin.
- if the patch contents leak and/or the patch is damaged or torn.
- with other skin medications (lotions, creams) or other heat sources.
- if you have previously had an allergic reaction to a patch.
- on areas of skin where heat cannot be felt, or on the face or mucous membranes.
- on damaged skin, bruising, or swelling within 48 hours of an injury.
- while sleeping. Do not lie on the patch or apply pressure during use (e.g., do not use under a belt or bandage), or if you are prone to skin ulcers.
Do not cut, pierce, or moisten the patch. Single-use only. For external use only. Do not ingest. Do not reheat the patch. Stop use and consult a doctor if pain worsens or remains unchanged. Seek medical or pharmacist advice before use if unsure. This patch contains iron. If ingested, seek immediate medical attention. If patch powder comes into contact with eyes or skin, rinse thoroughly with water and consult a doctor. Patches may potentially cause skin irritation, burns, or blisters. Check skin frequently. Discontinue use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if you experience discomfort, burning, swelling, rash, or other persistent skin changes where the patch is applied. Any serious incident involving the heating patch must be reported to the manufacturer and the competent authority of the member state where the user and/or patient resides.
