Precautions for use :

Special warnings and precautions for use: This product may cause burns and blisters. Check your Skin frequently during use. If you feel or notice any irritation or burning, remove the product immediately. For users who are not self-sufficient, or for users aged between 12 and 18: adult supervision is required. For people aged 55 or Plus: the risk of burns increases with age. If you are 55 or Plus, wear ThermaCare® over a layer of clothing and do not use it while sleeping. Consult your doctor before use if you have diabetes, circulatory problems, heart disease, rheumatoid arthritis or if you are pregnant. Discontinue use and consult a doctor if you experience any persistent discomfort, burning, swelling, rash or any other change in the area where you placed the bandage; if after 7 days your pain worsens or remains unchanged. Each alveolus contains iron (approximately 2g): - If swallowed, please contact a healthcare professional immediately. - In the event of contact with your Skin or eyes, remove the bandage, rinse the affected area with water and contact a healthcare professional immediately. - If the bandage is damaged or torn during use, remove it. Keep out of reach of Children and pets. Never heat the bandage in a microwave or attempt to reheat it, as it could catch fire. Do not use: -If the blisters leak and/or the bandage or packaging is damaged or torn. -In combination with other topical preparations. -On damaged skin. -In the event of bruising or swelling less than 48 hours old. -On people unable to remove the product themselves without outside help or unable to follow all instructions for use. -In association with other sources of heat. -On Children under 12 years of age. -On other areas of the Body other than the knee. When using this product: Plus should not be worn for more than 8 hours in any 24-hour period. Do not apply the bandage too tightly to the Skin and take care not to overlap the heating cells. Do not exert additional pressure on the product, for example by pressing it against hard surfaces or wearing it under tight clothing. If the bandage feels too hot, stop using it or wear it over a layer of clothing and not directly on your skin. To avoid any risk of burns, remove the product before any MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) procedure. Keep the heated bandage dry. Refer to the Instructions for Use section. This product does not require special storage conditions. After use, dispose of the bandage as soon as it is no longer heatable, in accordance with current local regulations on waste disposal, avoiding dispersion of its contents in the Environment. Any serious incident involving the device must be reported to the manufacturer, the authorised representative and the competent local authorities.
