Adhesive gel: The adhesive surface is composed of a conductive hydrogel.

Do not use the patch on the following areas:

• Do not apply near the heart or on the torso, as electrical signals may interfere with the heart’s electrical signals.
• Do not apply to the front or sides of the neck (carotid, throat), as electrostimulation could trigger laryngeal or pharyngeal spasms, leading to breathing difficulties. Stimulating the carotid artery may cause an abnormally slow heart rate or unusually low blood pressure in individuals with vascular issues.
• This patch is not designed for use on the head.
• Do not use on genital areas.

Medical contraindications:

• If you have an implanted device (pacemaker, insulin pump, glucose monitor, implanted defibrillator, etc.), as the URGO Electrotherapy Period Pain Rechargeable patch may interfere with the operation of these devices.
• If you have skin lesions (irritated skin, rash, post-operative wound, recent scar, staples, traumatic injury, burn, etc.), do not apply to affected areas, as electrostimulation could worsen skin irritation or disrupt healing.
• If you have impaired skin sensitivity in the lower abdomen or back, do not apply the patch to avoid the risk of secondary burns due to unintentionally high intensity settings that you may not feel.
• If you have cancer, do not apply on or near the cancerous or infected lesion, as the electrical current may promote the spread of cancer cells to other parts of the body.
• This device is not intended for and must not be used by pregnant women.

Before using the device, consult your doctor:

• If you have epilepsy or suspected epilepsy, as electrostimulation could trigger seizures.
• If you have heart problems, as electrical signals may interfere with the heart’s electrical activity.
• If you have a fever above 39°C, which may impair your alertness.

Usage precautions:

• Do not use this device while driving (cars, machinery, etc.), or during any activity where electrical stimulation or involuntary muscle contractions could be dangerous.
• Do not use this device while sleeping to avoid the risk of pain, inflammation, or secondary burns due to unintentionally high intensity settings that you may not control due to reduced alertness.
• Do not use this device on areas with staples, implants, or any metallic elements, as this could cause burns or pain.
• Do not use this device in very humid environments, such as a bathroom, or while bathing or showering.
• For hygiene reasons, do not share the adhesive gels with others.
• Keep out of reach and sight of children: they must not play with the device.
