The XL scar reducers by ELASTOPLAST allows to fade the scars that are thick or red. They activate the natural regeneration process of the skin in order to stimulate the blood circulation of the tissues. Skin pressure and temperature are increased significantly with this scar reducer. So the scars disappear. This reducer can be used on old or even recent scars on all parts of your body, even the face. This reducer comes to apply a transparent dressing which is suitable for all skin tones. It is breathable, flexible and is not composed of any active principle.
It can be worn in the shower and during sports activities. This reducer is suitable for sensitive skin.

How to use it
Remove the protective film from the adhesive side of the dressing. Place the dressing on clean, dry skin. Be sure to cover the scar well when applying the dressing. If the dressing does not cover the entire scar, place several dressings side by side. Cut the bandage if the scar is very small.
The dressing can be replaced daily if necessary.

Its relatively easy to use and to remove, it didn't give any strange feeling, neither sensations. About working on scar colour, I think it could do more if scar wasnt cover by skin and fat excess

wow such a difference[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was slightly sceptical of the plaster but i have used it for a few weeks now and the difference is amazing. The main thing i have found is it is no longer raised. Its really smoothed out the appearance. The colour is slightly lighter and im pretty certain it will only get lighter with continued use. Definetly will continue to use this product.

Excellent product[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've tried the silicone gel sheets that are reusable (wash and leave to dry and re-use) and the silicone gel and nothing beats these silicone gel sheets. The fact they are use and throw away is a big plus for me - who really has the time or patience to wash and leave to dry?? The instructions says they are to be used for 24 hours but I have found they are water (shower) proof and remain sticky for 2-3 days. On the outset it might seem expensive 21 sheets = 21 days, but if you can cut to the size of your scar(s), they last much longer than 21 days. I've had surgery on my wrist and cut to 3 pieces to go over the scar. Alongside massaging my scars daily, these silicone gel sheets are really helping my scars go soft and turn white coloured after 8 weeks post surgery.

Very good product[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very good product, much better than I expected. Easy to apply and remove and don't leave sticky patches on the skin. I am not sure if it will reduce any scars but very good as a plaster.

It works![This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It does work.
I was skeptical at first. But within a few times I applied to my C-section it has started to minimise the look of the scar! Even my family was so smazed! Not only it was completely Comfortable (and you can sleep or even take shower with it) but it also made softer and reduced the scar. I am still Carry on using it as it can take some time to take away the scar fully but I see it’s working, and I have faith it will all go away soon. I would highly recommend this product to anyone with such a problem as scars - it’ll help you same it does help me.
