ThermCool&Hot Pocket Multizone Ball Pouch - INSTRUCTIONS MICROWAVE OVEN (1200W) 1. Make sure the pouch is at room temperature before heating. 2. Place the pouch flat in the microwave oven. Based on a 1200W microwave oven, heat at full power for 8 seconds. 3. Carefully remove the pouch from the microwave and check that the desired temperature corresponds to your comfort level. The temperature will continue to rise slightly. If additional heat is required, return the pouch to the microwave and heat for a further 2 seconds, not exceeding 14 seconds in total. Keep an eye on the pouch as it heats up, as excessive heat can cause the pouch to rupture, leak or burn. 4. Knead the pouch well to distribute the heat evenly. 5. If the temperature is acceptable, apply the pouch to the affected area. If the pouch is too hot, remove it and reapply when the temperature is acceptable. 6. If you need to heat it further, follow steps 1 to 5 again. Store at room temperature for future use when hot.

FREEZER INSTRUCTIONS 1. Place the bag in the freezer for at least 2 hours. 2. Remove the bag from the freezer. Test the temperature to determine your personal comfort level. If acceptable, apply the pouch to the affected area. Note: freezer temperatures vary, so check your skin regularly during application to avoid frostbite. Cold does not affect everyone in the same way; always let comfort be your guide. It can be stored in the freezer for later use when cold.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE BAIN MARIE 1. Immerse the pouch in boiling water for 2 min (if the pouch was at room temperature) to 3 min (if the pouch was in the freezer). 2. Remove the pouch from the water and dry it. 3. Test the temperature of the pouch before applying it to your Skin. You can first apply it to a cloth as a precaution. If the temperature is right for you, you can apply the pouch directly to the painful area.
