Advantage 80 Flea Solution for Cats and Rabbits over 4 kg is a topical treatment designed to eliminate flea infestations in cats and rabbits, providing long-lasting protection against their return.
Effective and long-lasting protection
In cats, this treatment prevents and treats flea infestations, with proven efficacy for up to 3–4 weeks after a single application. For rabbits, it targets fleas and helps prevent their reappearance for up to one week. Advantage 80 can also be part of a therapeutic programme for Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD), helping to reduce irritation and discomfort caused by flea bites.

This spot-on solution kills fleas on contact, without the need for a bite, and breaks their life cycle by eliminating eggs and larvae. How to use it
How to apply the Advantage pipette to my cat?
- Hold the pipette upright and pull off the cap.
- Turn the cap over and push the other end onto the pipette to break the seal, then remove the cap.
- Part the fur between the shoulder blades until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the pipette onto the skin and press firmly several times to empty the contents.
The product has a bitter taste and may occasionally cause drooling if your cat licks the application site immediately after treatment.
This is not a sign of poisoning and the effect will disappear within a few minutes without any treatment.
Applying the product at the base of the neck helps minimise the risk of your cat licking the application site.
Apply the product to healthy skin.
Ensure recently treated animals cannot groom each other.
Administration for rabbits:
Part the fur at the base of the rabbit’s neck until the skin is visible.
Place the tip of the pipette onto the skin and press firmly several times to empty the contents directly onto the skin.
Contraindications:
- Do not treat unweaned kittens under 8 weeks of age.
- Do not use in rabbits under 10 weeks of age.
- Do not use in cases of hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the excipients in this product.
Compositions & ingredients

Active ingredient: Imidaclopride (80 mg), Butylhydroxytoluene (0.8 mg).
Contraindications:

Special precautions for use in animals:
-This product is for topical use only and must not be administered orally.

Special precautions to be taken by the person administering the veterinary medicine to animals:
- Do not massage the application site.
- The product contains benzyl alcohol and may cause skin sensitisation or transient skin reactions in rare cases (e.g., irritation, tingling).
- Avoid all contact with eyes and mouth.
- Do not eat, drink, or smoke while applying.
- If the product comes into contact with skin, wash with water and soap.
- In case of accidental eye contact, rinse eyes thoroughly with water. If skin or eye irritation persists, or in case of accidental ingestion, consult a doctor.
- Wash hands thoroughly after application.
After application, do not pet or groom animals until the application site is dry.
People with known sensitivity to imidacloprid should avoid contact with this product.
Other precautions:
The solvent in this product may stain materials such as leather, fabrics, plastics, and varnished surfaces. Allow the application site to dry before contact with such materials.
