How to use it
How do I apply the Advantage pipette to my cat?
- Hold the pipette upright and remove the cap.
- Turn the cap over and replace it on the other end to break the seal, then remove the cap.
- Part the fur between the shoulder blades until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and press several times to empty the contents.
The product has a bitter taste and may occasionally cause drooling if the cat licks the application site immediately after treatment.
This is not a sign of poisoning; the effect disappears within a few minutes without any treatment.
Applying the product at the base of the neck helps minimise the risk of the cat licking the application site.
Apply the product to healthy skin.
Ensure recently treated animals cannot lick each other.
Administration for rabbits:
Part the fur at the base of the rabbit’s neck until the skin is visible.
Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and press firmly several times to empty the contents directly onto the skin.
Contraindications:
- Do not treat unweaned kittens under 8 weeks old.
- Do not use on rabbits under 10 weeks old.
- Do not use in cases of hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the excipients in this product.

Contraindications:

Special precautions for use in animals:
-The product is for topical application only and must not be administered orally.
-Apply to healthy skin.
-Avoid contact of the solution with the eyes or mouth of the treated animal.

Special precautions to be taken by the person administering the veterinary medicinal product to animals:
- Do not massage the application site.
- The product contains benzyl alcohol and may cause skin sensitisation or transient skin reactions in rare cases (e.g., irritation, tingling).
- Avoid all contact of the product with the eyes and mouth.
- Do not eat, drink, or smoke while applying.
- If the product comes into contact with skin, wash with water and soap.
- In case of accidental eye contact, rinse eyes thoroughly with water. If skin or eye irritation persists, or in case of accidental ingestion of the product, consult a doctor.
- Wash hands thoroughly after application.
After application, do not pet or groom animals until the application site is dry.
People with known sensitivity to imidacloprid should avoid all contact with this product.
Other precautions:
The solvent in this product may stain certain materials such as leather, fabrics, plastics, and varnished surfaces. Allow the application site to dry before permitting contact with such materials.
