Warning: Do not apply for more than 15 seconds on thin skin (hands, fingers, toes, sides/top of feet) and no more than 40 seconds on thick, calloused skin (soles of feet). Improper or prolonged use may damage skin or nerves.
For external use only.
Keep out of sight and reach of children. Contains small parts. The Excilor® ZéroVerrue FREEZE pen must be used by an adult to treat warts in children.
Do not inhale nitrous oxide – symptoms may include dizziness, confusion and headaches. Nitrous oxide is a non-toxic, non-flammable gas, but it supports combustion in case of fire.
Keep away from heat, sparks, open flames and hot surfaces. Do not smoke or use near an open flame.
Pressurised container. May burst if heated. Do not pierce or burn, even after use – the pen is under high pressure and cannot be opened.
Side effects: Blisters (sometimes blood-filled) around the treated area – varies by case (see the section “After using Excilor® ZéroVerrue FREEZE”).
Skin discolouration called “depigmentation”.
Minor burns and scarring.
Risk of skin/nerve damage (in case of overexposure).
Temporary sensory disturbances (tingling, pins and needles).
Consult your doctor if:
- You or your child experience an unexpected side effect.
- The wart does not heal.
- The wart has not disappeared after 3 treatments.
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Contraindications: Do not use Excilor® ZéroVerrue FREEZE:
- On children under 4 years old.
- On clustered warts or warts closer than 3 cm apart. Treat one wart and wait 14 days before treating the next to avoid excessive skin damage.
- On the face, groin, genital area, scalp or mucous membranes.
- On people with diabetes or circulation/coagulation problems.
- On warts in sensitive skin areas, and take extra care when treating thin skin (e.g. around joints).
- If the wart and/or surrounding skin is bleeding, open, itchy, irritated, infected or red.
- On healthy skin (skin without warts).
- On fluid-filled skin vesicles (called “molluscum contagiosum”) or any other type of vesicle or blister.
- If you are unsure whether the growth is a common wart.
- Do not attempt to remove birthmarks, moles, recent growths, vascularised or irregular growths, or anything that could be skin cancer (melanoma).
