Cistus is a plant that grows mainly in poor soils around the Mediterranean. It is a shrub with beautiful, highly Perfumes flowers whose leaves secrete a juice that the Greeks called ladanum (hence the name ladaniferous rockrose). It was used in Pharmacie, but also in perfumery as a powerful and sacred scent, like incense, cedar, myrrh or benzoin. Cistus is now widely used in chypre and amber Perfumes.

How to use it
Usage: Food Always use the essential oil diluted in a suitable medium (e.g. honey, vegetable oil, etc.) Soluble in alcohol, fats (Plant oils and butters) and emulsions (creams). Insoluble in water. However, it is possible to use it as a mixture in these types of products, but pre-mixed with Solubol (in this case, you need to use 4 times more Solubol than essential oil).

Produced from organic farming
Always use the essential oil diluted in a vegetable oil or other suitable medium. Follow the recommended doses. Do not use if you are pregnant or breast-feeding, if you are a child under the age of 3 (under the age of 7 internally), if you suffer from asthma or epilepsy, if you are allergic to any of the ingredients or if you are taking anticoagulant medication. Consult a specialist for all other indications.
