The word piloselle/hawkweed (from the Greek pilos, hair) evokes the end down, characteristic of plants adapted to drought, which covers its rounded leaves and earned him the nickname "Ear-mouse".
The properties of the hawkweed are known since the work of Dr. Leclerc, around 1930. The entire plant contains a large number of active molecules, especially flavonoids and coumarins, including umbelliferone. The hawkweed is known to facilitate the elimination functions.
