How to use it
How to use Insect Ecran Skin Mosquito, Wasp and Hornet Repellent?
Shake the bottle before use. Spray into the palm of your hand, then apply evenly to exposed areas of skin. Wait 20 minutes after applying sunscreen before use. Avoid contact with plastics, synthetic fabrics and delicate surfaces. Do not apply to damaged skin or mucous membranes. For use by pregnant women only in areas with vector-borne disease risk.
Reapply every 6–8 hours, depending on exposure levels.
Compositions & ingredients
The composition may be subject to variations, so we advise you to always check the list on the purchased product.
Do not use the spray near food or surfaces that may come into contact with products intended for human or animal consumption. Do not use the product immediately before swimming or showering. The duration of protection may be reduced by sweating, humidity, rubbing, high temperatures, etc. To monitor potential resistance to DEET, report any cases of treatment ineffectiveness to Cooper. In case of ingestion: Risk of dizziness and loss of consciousness. Ingestion may lead to acute poisoning. Contact 999 (or 112) or a Poisons Information Centre immediately. Do not induce vomiting without medical advice. In case of eye contact: If necessary, remove contact lenses. Rinse eyes under a gentle stream of lukewarm water for about 10 minutes, keeping eyes open and ensuring to rinse under the eyelids. If redness persists two hours after rinsing, consult a doctor. If skin lesions, redness, or persistent pain occur after applying the product, consult a doctor. The active ingredient in the product (DEET) may cause nervous hyperexcitability, particularly in sensitive individuals (e.g., epileptics) or in cases of co-exposure to convulsant products. Dispose of contents/container at an appropriate collection point. Do not reuse the packaging. Do not transfer the product to other containers. Do not mix with other waste. Bottles containing product residues must be disposed of in accordance with national regulations. Do not release the product into the environment or drains. Keep out of reach of children. Do not store for more than 6 months at 40°C. The expiry date (EXP) is printed below the bottle for storage at 25°C. Flammable liquid and vapour. Causes severe eye irritation. Contains Citronellol. May cause an allergic reaction. Keep out of reach of children. If consulting a doctor, keep the container available. Keep away from heat, naked flames, and all other sources of ignition. Do not smoke. IN CASE OF EYE CONTACT: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Do not apply to mucous membranes or damaged skin. Avoid contact with eyes. Dispose of contents/container at an appropriate collection point. Do not release the product into the environment or drains.
