APURNA® L-Glutamine is ideal for all types of sport, whether strength or Resistence. It plays a vital role in supporting the immune system. It prevents muscle breakdown and injury for athletes with an intensive training rhythm and load.
Glutamine is the most abundant amino acid in the blood and muscles. During high-intensity training, glutamine reserves drop significantly. This not only reduces performance but also increases the risk of injury. Glutamine consumption therefore promotes muscle recovery and enables athletes to maintain a high level of high-intensity training.
A daily dose of 5 to 15g of L-Glutamine (depending on body weight) acts as an antioxidant to protect cells against oxidative stress, plays an immune role as glutamine fuels our immune defences, and plays a functional role in the transport of Proteins and the elimination of waste produced during exercise.
