Do you have a "bunion" on your Feet? Whether it causes you pain or not, don't ignore its consequences: it needs to be treated as soon as possible to limit the negative repercussions on other joints, particularly the knee. This is what the Correct hallux valgus orthosisdoes, by realigning the big toe! Unlike a Classic hallux valgus splint, it can be used during the day. The result: better support and relief of Pains linked to hallux valgus when they are already present. This orthosis can be used both as a treatment and as a preventative measure to limit the development of hallux valgus by correcting the axis of the big toe.
Thanks to its patented, flexible, ultra-thin design incorporating EPITHELIUM™FLEX technology, the hallux valgus orthosis fits easily in all shoes and is worn daily use throughout the day.
Unlike a rigid hallux valgus splints, it acts during walking on all the factors that aggravate deformity:
- The patented EPITHELIUMTM FLEX external silicone tendon helps to straighten the big toe. The level of correction can be adjusted by exerting greater or lesser tension on the tendon. - The EPITHELIUMTM FLEX external tendon also absorbs pressure on the exostosis ("bunion") to relieve Pains. - The EpitheliumTM pad creates a comfortable counter-bearing with the shoe and helps to push back the 1st metatarsal. - The extra-thin metatarsal support strap limits crushing and widening of the forefoot and is machine washable at 40°C in the washing net provided.
Shelf life: several months.
Sold individually. Protection is suitable for both right and left feet.
Contraindication: The hallux valgus orthosis should not be used if the big toe is no longer laterally mobile.

How to use it
Check that your toe is still laterally mobile.
Wash the orthosis before using it for thefirst time.
The level of correction can be adjusted by applying more or less tension to the tendon on your foot: on the first day, do not try to correct the big toe. Then, for 10 days, gradually correct the deviation by pulling the device backwards.
The device should be worn daily use for optimum efficiency.
The hallux valgus day orthosis is machine-washable at 30°C or hand-washable (without rubbing) with soap and water. Leave to dry naturally. Discard and replace the device as soon as any cracks appear in the Gel or any damage to the fabric or seams.
Compositions & ingredients

Do not use on skin lesions. Do not use if the big toe is no longer laterally mobile. For people with diabetes, arteritis, polyneuritis, neuropathy of the lower limbs or varicose ulcers: ask your doctor or chiropodist for advice, then monitor your foot during use.
The EPITACT SPORT knee pad has been specially designed for the practice of board sports (ski, snowboard) and can be worn under all types of clothing. It does not slip and does not interfere. The kneepad is machine washable.
