APURNA® EAA essential amino acids are ideal for athletes practising Resistence or power sports. They promote Recovery by repairing muscle tissue. An intake of EAA during exercise also provides a rapid source of energy as a supplement to carbohydrates. They limit the use of muscle amino acids as a source of energy during exercise, thereby promoting recovery and muscle building.
EAAs contain the 9 essential amino acids (including BCAA 2.1.1) which cannot be synthesised by the body: Leucine, Isoleucine, Valine, Lysine, Methionine, Phenylalanine, Threonine, Tryptophan and Histidine. They must therefore be provided by the diet: a necessary condition for the body to function properly. For athletes, it is difficult to consume enough BCAAs in the diet to cover the Body's needs. Supplementation is therefore necessary to meet the muscular needs of athletes.
