Be-Life Co-Q10

Be-Life Co-q10 is a food supplement containing coenzyme Q10 in the ubiquinone form, designed to support cellular functions involved in energy production.

A coenzyme naturally found in the body

Coenzyme Q10 is found in the membranes of almost all human tissues and organs, with particularly high concentrations in the heart. It contributes to the electron transport chain within the mitochondria, the cellular components responsible for energy production. It also has an antioxidant function. In this formula, coenzyme Q10 is provided in its ubiquinone form, one of the two forms found in the body alongside ubiquinol.

A fat-soluble form

Unlike ubiquinol, ubiquinone must undergo enzymatic processing before it can act in cellular respiration. The body can normally convert ubiquinone into ubiquinol, although this ability may be negatively influenced by various factors, including age. The ubiquinone form selected by Be-Life is combined with a fat-soluble oil-based carrier, presented as helping to optimise its bioavailability. The coenzyme Q10 is also obtained through fermentation, using the process specified for this product. This format allows both forms of coenzyme Q10 to be found in the body, following the natural mechanisms involved in their conversion.
