Coenzyme Q10 is a molecule found in all cell membranes of the body.
Coenzyme Q10 occurs naturally in two main forms in the body: ubiquinone, ubiquinol.
In a quality objective, PiLeJe has chosen a Coenzyme Q10 obtained according to a process of fermentation of yeast Kaneka Ubiquinol TM.
Three different methods are used for the production of CoQ10:
> yeast fermentation,
> bacterial fermentation,
> chemical synthesis.
The yeast fermentation process results in an all-trans CoQ10, which means it is identical to the natural CoQ10 found in meat, fish and other products.
