Arkomedica Herpotherm Neo Warming Stick for Cold Sores is a medical device designed to treat cold sore symptoms locally. Use it at the first signs, such as tingling, tightness or itching.
Targeted local thermotherapy
This warming stick works through local thermotherapy at up to 51 °C. It applies brief, concentrated heat to a small area of skin. When used early enough, this may help prevent blisters from forming. A clinical study and dermatological tests also reported milder progression or earlier healing when it was used later. The device therefore helps manage unpleasant symptoms, including pain, burning, itching, tingling and tightness.

Applying herpotherm neo is simple and takes just three seconds. It works without chemicals, offering an alternative to creams and patches. Dermatologically tested, the device is suitable for the whole family from the age of 3, with independent use from the age of 12. It is also suitable for people with allergies. How to use it
Do not use in children under 3 years of age. For self-medication by adults and children aged 12 and over. Children under 12 must only use the device with adult assistance.
Herpes is a viral disease caused by the Herpes simplex virus. To prevent transmission of the virus, herpotherm® neo must only be used by one person. Use at the first signs.
Remove the cap,
Position the device over the cold sore,
Activate the heat (3 seconds)
That’s it.
If symptoms persist or recur, the same area of skin may be treated several times. However, wait 2 minutes before using the device again. Another affected area on the lip may be treated directly after the first treatment with herpotherm® neo.

Heating pen with a ceramic contact surface, supplied with two 1.5 V AAA LR03 batteries.

Warnings
herpotherm® neo must not be used
on the eyes or eyelids
on mucous membranes
on open wounds or damaged skin (e.g. open blisters)
in the event of scalding or burns to the skin
in the event of frostbite
in the event of tumours or malignant changes to the skin
in cases of known algesthesia (increased sensitivity to pain) associated with small-fibre neuropathy, allodynia or hyperalgesia
in people with a known reduced sensitivity to pain and temperature.
Keep the device out of the reach of children Please note that herpotherm® neo contains small parts that can be swallowed by children under 3 years of age and therefore pose a choking hazard

Storage conditions:
Keep the device away from sunlight, in a clean and dry place. Do not use the batteries beyond the expiry date shown on them. To prevent damage to herpotherm® neo caused by leaking acid, remove the batteries if the device will not be used for a long period.
