Manuka, a shrub in the same family as the Tea Tree, grows wild in the virgin lands of New Zealand. Its leaves and bark were recognised as among the most efficient in traditional Maori pharmacopoeia.
Today, Manuka Honey is used for its unique properties, scientifically measured and guaranteed by the IAA index. Manuka honey is mainly used as a preventive or curative treatment, both internally and on the skin.
