Boswellia, also known as "Shallaki", is an Ayurvedic plant. This resin is produced by a tree, obtained after incising the bark, harvested by hand and dried in the Sun. It is particularly rich in essential oil, which is itself made up of triterpenes (boswellic acids, including AKBA). It is renowned for its contribution to joint comfort.
