Mercurochrome Nasal spray + 2 replacable nozzles

1. Before first use, rinse the components with sterile distilled water or with boiled and cooled water.
2. Select the appropriate flush tip: the 3 port tip for children 5-12 years or the single port tip for adults.
3. Fit the chosen tip to the tube and run a little saline through the assembly to flush it.
4. Before each use, flush these components (bottle, tip and tubing) with saline or boiled water.
5. Fill the bottle with saline (isotonic). It is recommended that the saline be heated to 36-38°C for optimum effect.
6. Place the seal on the bottle and then fit the tube with the nozzle.
7. 7. Check the temperature of the liquid before use by running a few drops over your hand (to avoid any risk of burning if heated too much). Position yourself for nasal rinsing: lean forward over a sink,
lower your head, tilt it slightly to the side, turn the bottle upside down
the bottle, insert the nozzle into the nostril, open the mouth slightly and breathe through
your mouth slightly and breathe through it (not through your nose), press the button at the bottom of the bottle to let the air in, and slowly inject the rinse solution into your nostril to start the nasal rinse.
8. When the rinse is complete, wipe your nose with a clean tissue or towel.
9. After each use: disassemble the device, empty the bottle of all remaining liquid, then rinse each part thoroughly with clean, warm water. Dry with clean absorbent paper or a clean, lint-free cloth. Store the product in a clean, dry place. Allow all materials to dry before reassembling the device.
10. Once a week, decontaminate the device by placing the components (without the seal) separately:
- Either in boiled water (maximum temperature 100°C - do not exceed this temperature)
- Or in 70° alcohol
And soak for 3 to 5 minutes, rinse (if the device has been decontaminated with alcohol) and dry each part.
For users requiring specific hygiene conditions, it is possible to perform this step 10 after each use.
