How to use Dodie breast milk storage bags?

Peel apart the two sections at the bottom. Detach the pre-cut top along the dotted line, then open the bag above the zip seal. Pour in the breast milk. The measurements are accurate when the bag is open. Remove excess air, seal the zip, check the bag is stable, and note the date and quantity. To defrost the milk, hold the bag under warm water until fully thawed, or leave it in the fridge or at room temperature for a few hours. Then tear off the pouring spout, pour the milk into a bottle and warm it in a bottle warmer or in a bain-marie. Freshly expressed milk keeps for 4 hours at room temperature, 48 hours in the fridge and 4 months in the freezer. Once thawed, it keeps for 4 hours at room temperature, then 24 hours in the fridge.
