La Roche-Posay Effaclar K (+) is a dermo-cosmetic formulation designed to support combination to oily skin prone to acne. This targeted treatment helps reduce the appearance of recurring blackheads, refines skin texture and regulates excess shine caused by overactive sebum production.
Physiological exfoliation and antioxidant complex
The formula combines LHA (Lipo-Hydroxy Acid), a micro-exfoliating active that gently thins the skin's outer layer to prevent pore blockage. This keratolytic action is enhanced by a synergistic blend of vitamin E, carnosine and Airlicium™, which helps limit sebum oxidation—a key factor in blackhead formation—while absorbing surface lipids for a mattifying effect that lasts up to 8 hours.

Presented as a lightweight aquagel, this treatment absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy or sticky residue. How to use it
How to use Effaclar K+ face care for blackheads? Apply Effaclar K+ with your fingertips to the entire face, ensuring skin is clean, dry and free from makeup. For best results, cleanse oily skin first with Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel. This product can also be used as a makeup base.
When should you use Effaclar K+ for oily, acne-prone skin? Apply Effaclar K+ in the morning and/or evening. Use on skin that has been thoroughly cleansed with Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel for oily skin. Apply before makeup as a smoothing base.
