How to use La Roche-Posay Effaclar Astringent Face Lotion?
For a purified complexion, apply this lotion twice daily after cleansing. Soak a cotton pad and sweep it over affected areas (forehead, nose, chin), avoiding the eye contour. Ideal for oily or blemish-prone skin, it refines pores and reduces shine.
Pro tip: Use after removing makeup to maximise its effectiveness against blackheads.

Why use Effaclar Astringent Micro-Exfoliant Lotion? This lotion is specially formulated for oily, blemish-prone skin. It helps to unclog and tighten enlarged pores while reducing blackheads. Thanks to its micro-exfoliating action, it smooths the skin’s texture for a clearer, more even-looking complexion day after day.
How is this lotion different from a regular toner? A standard toner mainly helps to complete make-up removal and refresh the skin. Effaclar Lotion, however, is a true treatment product. Enriched with exfoliating LHA, it works deep within the pores to purify and refine the skin, making it far more active than a simple toner.
Can this lotion dry out or irritate the skin? Formulated with soothing La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water, it is designed to be well tolerated.
