Compositions & ingredients
The composition may be subject to variations, so we advise you to always check the list on the purchased product.
What is the purpose of Ducray Rubefacient Hair Tonic Gel? This stimulating gel is designed to invigorate the scalp and promote the nourishment of hair follicles in areas affected by localised hair thinning or patchy hair loss.
How should this gel be applied to the scalp? Apply a small amount of Ducray Rubefacient Gel once a day directly onto the targeted areas of the scalp. Massage gently until absorbed. Do not rinse.
What is the main effect of this product on targeted areas? It produces a warming sensation that helps boost local microcirculation, which in turn tones the scalp and prepares it to better absorb complementary hair treatments.
When is the use of this gel recommended? This gel is typically used in cases of patchy hair loss (such as alopecia areata). For a proper diagnosis and tailored treatment plan, it is advisable to consult a healthcare professional.
Are there any sensations to expect after application? Yes, a temporary warming feeling and slight redness are normal and indicate that the gel is actively working to stimulate the scalp.
Does the sun have any effect on skin if you've applied this gel?

Hi Anonymous,
Thank you for your question on Ducray Tonifying Gel Scalp Stimulating Care Localised Hair Loss 30ml.
This product is applied on the scalp, and since it contains alcohol, we don't recommend sun exposure right after application. Indeed, alcohol is a photosensitizing ingredient so it's better to apply this product at night if intense sun exposure is expected during the day.
