How to use it

Not as good as the older formulaI'm disappointed with this considering how expensive it is. The older formula in the silver jar was much better and cheaper. This is quite thick and feels heavy, it doesn't feel as lightweight as the older formula and this means it doesn't glide on as well. It also has a very horrid smell, although the day cream is worse. The older formula never did this. After using the whole jar I feel my skin is no better for the extra price tag and if anything looks duller in comparison, I definitely don't have as radiant a glow as I did with the older night cream in the silver jar. It is a real shame as there is no alternative to this in the Clinique range. I've always felt like Clinique did wonders for my skin but this product and the day version with SPF are so disappointing and over priced. Please bring back the old smart moisturisers for day and night in the silver jars.

Not suitable for meAfter reading all the reviews and seeking advice from a Clinique advisor I purchased this cream and also smart clinical repair SPF 30 wrinkle correcting cream. I have already returned this item unopened but because I started to use the Overnight Recovery Cream Mask I can't return it. This cream has made my skin so dry and uncomfortable. I wish I had not wasted my money. I should have stayed with Cliniques Moisture Surge.

Possibly the bestSo I have very dry skin that reacts badly to a lot of skin products. Like other reviewers I was disappointed Clinique stopped custom night for dry/very dry skin. I was told on the chat this was good. So glad I tried it. My skin is so soft and plumped in the morning. It is winter and my skin is extra dry so I slather this on. It absorbs quickly and my face looks healthier and plumper with reduced lines and wrinkles. Does not aggravate me at all even after a day in the cold. Excellent night cream it lasts ages and I'm generous with it.

Overnight creamI have to say just lately the smart creams have not been very compatable with my skin, leaving rolls if I rub my face and thought perhaps it was something to do with my age (70). This however doesn't and goes on easily over the smart serum and my face feels lovely, even the next morning.

Great new night cream!Really liked the texture of this cream and love that it doubles as a mask for when you need a bit more hydration. Didn't feel super heavy on my skin, would recommend.

Lovely CreamYour skin feels amazing and hydrated after this cream is applied and for someone who suffers with dry skin this gives me the boost of moisture that I need! I apply this before I go to sleep and when I wake up my skin feels super soft - I would definitely recommend this cream!
