Avène Sun Mineral Cream Very High Protection SPF50+ is a specialist sun protection formula designed for skin intolerant to chemical filters and fragrances. This gentle yet effective cream helps defend delicate or reactive skin against UVA and UVB rays, providing essential protection for skin prone to irritation when exposed to sunlight.
Mineral complex with antioxidant defence
This sun cream relies on a 100% mineral filter system, free from synthetic chemical filters. The carefully selected mineral powders create a stable, broad-spectrum barrier that reflects harmful UVB and UVA rays (both short and long) away from the skin’s surface. Enriched with Pre-tocopheryl – a stable precursor to vitamin E – the formula also delivers antioxidant protection, helping to shield skin cells from oxidative stress caused by sun exposure. Its hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic formulation makes it particularly suitable for very fair skin types and those who cannot tolerate conventional sun filters.
Skin-friendly texture with water resistance
To address the typical white cast associated with mineral sunscreens, this cream features a lightly tinted, velvety texture that blends smoothly into the skin for an even finish. Apply generously to the face before sun exposure. Reapply every 2 hours, especially after swimming or sweating. Its fluid texture glides on easily, even on sensitive or reactive skin.
Tip: Apply evenly for optimal protection, remembering often-missed areas (around the eyes, ears).
