Remove the used nappy and clean Baby's skin with soft Wipes. Always wipe from front to back.
Gently lift Baby by the ankles and put a clean nappy underneath. The Colour markings should be on the front.
Close the nappy and adjust the stretch tabs so that the nappy is neither too loose nor too tight. It should be easy to get two fingers between the nappy and the stomach.
A closer look at the Pampers brand
The Pampers brand dates back to the 1950s, when Victor Mills, a chemical engineer working for Procter & Gamble, tried to find a better way of changing his grandson. Did you know? 1961 saw the arrival of the first disposable Pampers nappy, synonymous with comfort for Baby. These first nappies were bulky. In 1966, Pampers developed the side-fold model and in 1973, Procter & Gamble launched single and double elastic gussets around the legs and waist. In the 1990s, Pampers later introduced a thinner layer known as Ultra Dry Thins. Interestingly, the brand has a history of introducing gender-specific nappies, only to return to unisex nappies. A larger size 6 nappy was also developed later, targeting growing toddlers.
Today, the Pampers size 2 nappy is particularly comfortable and is made from soft, micro-ventilated components. The fasteners keep the nappy securely in place. Pampers also makes life easier for Mothercare with a urine indicator that changes colour when baby needs a new nappy. The Pampers size 2 nappy is highly absorbent and provides perfect Protection for Children from 4 to 8 kg.
Pampers is a committed brand and environmental and social challenges are central to product development. Pampers wants to protect the world in which new generations will grow up, and is thinking sustainability. Plus, Pampers' aim is to support the healthy development of every Child, while helping families. Finally, the Pampers brand is committed to UNICEF and actively helps millions of Children with vaccines.
