Inspired by 60 years of research into breast milk, Laboratoires Guigoz have developed GUIGOZ® Optipro® 2, the first follow-on milk with the oligosaccharide 2'FL (2'-fucosyllactose), an adjusted* protein content and a combination of vitamins and minerals to meet your baby's nutritional needs* from 6 months to 1 year, as part of a diversified diet.

Vitamins A*, C* and D*, which contribute to the normal functioning of the immune system.

Iron* which contributes to normal cognitive development and Zinc* for normal growth.

DHA* (docosahexaenoic acid) from fish oil and ALA* (alpha-linolenic acid), two essential fatty acids from the Omegas 3 family. DHA contributes to the normal development of babies' eyesight**, and ALA contributes to the normal development of their brains.

Breast milk is the ideal, natural food for every baby. However, if you are unable or unwilling to breastfeed, Coprs Médical will recommend an infant formula for your Children. Do not change without asking your doctor's advice. Follow-on milk is part of a diversified diet for infants from the age of 6 months and cannot be used as a substitute for breast milk during the first 6 months of life. The decision to introduce complementary foods, including before the age of 6 months, should only be taken on the advice of a health professional.

It is important to eat a varied and balanced diet.

How to use it

Warning: for Baby's good health,
it is important to follow these instructions:

1.Prepare the bottle just before the meal.
2.Use mineral or spring water that is suitable for babies.
3.We do not recommend using a microwave oven to warm the water, as there is a risk of burns. Instead, use a bain-marie or bottle warmer.
4.Only use the measuring spoon contained in this box.
5.It is advisable to give the bottle within an hour of preparing it at room temperature, or within half an hour if it is lukewarm. Don't hesitate to throw away the rest of an unfinished bottle.
6.Always hold your baby securely while he or she is taking a bottle, to avoid any risk of choking.
7.As soon as your baby is old enough, offer him a cup instead of a bottle.
8.Keep the sealed tin in a cool, dry place for no more than 3 weeks after opening.

Clean your work surface and wash your hands thoroughly. Use a clean, rinsed feeding bottle and accessories.
See the table for the exact volume of water to pour into the bottle. Pour in the water and warm (max 40°C) if you wish.
Add the exact number of scoops of powder corresponding to the volume of water. Flatten each scoop on the rim.
Then place the measuring spoon on its holder in the can and close the can.
Close the bottle with the ring and teat. Roll the bottle between your hands to lower the milk powder, then shake it up and down until it is completely dissolved.
Check the temperature on the inside of your forearm.

Dosage: one level measuring spoon (4.5g) in 30ml of Water.
An inappropriate quantity of powder may lead to dehydration or deprive your Children of adequate Nutrition. The frequency of feeding and the quantities to be prepared are average indications. The volume and number of bottles should be adjusted by healthcare professionals to suit the needs of each individual child. From the age of 6 months, your baby's diet will become more varied (cereals, fruit, vegetables). Consult your doctor for any further information.

For some babies, any change in formula may lead to temporary changes in stool frequency and consistency, which is nothing to worry about. If in doubt, talk to your health professional.
