CE-compliant, this surgical mask for Children belongs to the class of protection that can filter out up to 98% of particles with an average size of 3µm. Its 3-ply format covers the whole of the lower Face, from the top of the nose to under the chin. A nose clip provides extra protection around the nose to prevent breath from fogging up glasses. It is held in place on your Children's Face by two ear elastics, the texture of which is soft so as not to irritate the back of the earlobes.

Each surgical mask for Children is single-use and must be disposed of in a domestic waste bin with a re-sealable bag after use. It should not be worn for more than 4 consecutive hours.

How to put on, use and remove a mask, and what to do with used masks:

  • Before putting on a mask, wash your hands with soap and water or a hydro-alcoholic solution.
  • Apply the mask so that it covers your nose and mouth, and make sure it fits snugly on your Face; check that there is no jet of air in your eyes when you exhale sharply.
  • For FFP masks, a tightness check must be carried out: cover the filtering surface of the mask using a plastic sheet held in place with both hands. Inhale: the mask should press lightly against the face. If the mask does not settle, it is not watertight and needs to be readjusted.
  • Whenever you touch a used mask, wash your hands with soap and water or a hydro-alcoholic solution.
  • If you need to eat or drink, change your Masks.
  • When it becomes damp, replace it with a new mask. Do not reuse single-use masks.
  • To remove the mask: if wearing gloves, remove them and wash your hands with soap and water or with a hydro-alcoholic solution.
  • Then remove the mask from behind (do not touch the front of the mask); dispose of it immediately in a closed waste bin, or, if it is a reusable consumer mask, isolate it in a plastic bag while you wait to wash it; wash your hands with soap and water or with a hydro-alcoholic solution.

Use and precautions for use:
- Strictly personal use, cannot be lent or shared with another person.
- The Masks can be worn for 4 hours. After 4 hours, change the Masks.
- If, for any reason, the mask becomes damp (perspiration, coughing, etc.), change the mask.
- Use a Masks every time you leave the Home. Take a few spare masks with you each time you go out, as well as a separate bag to put your used mask in after you've changed it.
