Guigoz Laboratories have developed GUIGOZ Expert® AR 1, a formula that meets the specific needs of infants, as an alternative to breast-feeding.
It is suitable for the specific nutritional needs of infants from birth who are not breastfed, in the event of regurgitation.
This formula contains a high level of starch capable of absorbing water, causing the bolus of food to thicken in the stomach.
This thickening is responsible for a significant reduction in your baby's spit-up.

Guigoz Expert AR1 is also hypoallergenic to help reduce the risk of allergy to cow's milk proteins.

How to use it

Precautions for use :

It is important for your Baby's health that you follow the instructions below:
Wash your hands before each preparation.
The bottle must be prepared just before the meal. Throw away any leftover bottle without hesitation.
Only use the measuring spoon contained in this box.
Be sure to reseal the can and store it in a dry place for up to 4 weeks after opening.
After feeding, thoroughly clean the bottle and all the Accessories.
Make sure your Baby is comfortable while taking his bottle.

Preparing the bottle :

Carefully clean and sterilise feeding bottles and teats (boil for 1/4 hour or cold sterilise in a suitable appliance).
Pour into the bottle the required amount of Water, warmed to a maximum of 40°C (water with a low mineral content).
Add the required number of levelled measuring spoons to the water (1 measuring spoon for 30 ml of water).
Close and shake the bottle vigorously. Check the temperature on the inside of your wrist.

How to reduce Baby's spit-up?

At birth, Baby's digestive system is not yet mature, and this leads to gastro-oesophageal reflux. More commonly known as "spit-up", this reflux is a source of discomfort for babies, as it can be very uncomfortable and can affect sleep and growth. So, in order to make the little ones more comfortable, there are a number of things you can do to limit spit-up. It's important to remember that spit-up is actually a movement of the stomach towards the mouth: babies' sphincters are not yet mature enough to stop food from rising up. To relieve Baby's discomfort, it is essential to take time during and after feeding. During bottle-feeding or breast-feeding, it's important to give your Children breaks so that they can let out the air or burp if they feel the need. Then, after the meal, it's important to hold Baby close to you for at least 15 minutes, in an upright or semi-upright position, to help him digest properly and burp. It's true that not all babies burp automatically, but for those who tend to regurgitate a lot, it's important to give them the opportunity to do so. In the same vein, avoid laying Baby down for 30 minutes after feeding. For breast-fed babies, opt for positions that will help limit reflux, and for bottle-fed babies, opt for anti-reflux teats and anti-regurgitation milks. Finally, for daily use comfort, it's advisable to take care throughout the day: don't wrap your baby's nappy too tightly around his tummy, wear clothes that are too tight around the waist, keep baby in a bouncer or car seat for too long (these positions tend to compress the stomach) and, of course, don't smoke next to baby as passive smoking aggravates gastro-oesophageal reflux.
